Why Rick Would Have Loved BORP

Hi Jesse and Friends,
In perusing your website, tears well up in my eyes at the memory of a man who so clearly embraced the world and all its beauty. I am a friend of Jesse's and also an avid supporter of BORP - myself an athlete with a physical disability and a member of the BORP Board of Directors. More important than official positions, however, is my sense of deep love and admiration for both Rick as well as for this organization that we are choosing to support. For over 30 years, BORP has been assisting kids and adults with disabilities to feel the wind at their back, know what it's like to finish a long workout or ride and feel the rush of adrenaline that comes with a job well done, and...simply...to learn from one another that there are many ways of moving, many ways of being athletic, many ways of being human.
I can't thank you enough, Jesse, for this innovative idea and for honoring Rick in this way.
