Thank you to everyone who has supported Rick's Ride to date, not only with donations, but also with ideas and encouragement. I am overwhelmed and grateful.
I had only a vague idea of what I was getting into when I decided to make this attempt. Much will remain unsure until I've worked my way through the mountain stages. But I already know one thing with certainty: Rick's Ride would not be even a remote possibility if I didn't have such a supportive network of family, friends, and kindred spirits. After lots of miles as a loner, I'm starting to feel a little like George Bailey.
